Sarah Irwin is a fine artist based in Nova Scotia. Found objects and a sense of humor are reoccurring devices she uses in her work to provoke social and environmental questions. Irwin has produced multiple bodies of work including stone sculpture, paintings, drawings, and assemblage. A graduate of Georgian College's Fine Art program she also holds an interdisciplinary degree from NSCAD University. An avid gardener, she writes poems, teaches classes, and has created murals, costumes and sets.
